As Covid continues to keep us in lockdown, so many organisations still need our help and support. Today we got the old gang together and made up 30 play bags for kids living in towers who are prevented from playing outside due to covid. Each bag has some crayons, a colouring book, a toy, a new book, some stickers and some Play Doh. Kids living in towers have to be isolated because of Covid but they don’t have backyards to play in, and with playgrounds being closed it has made it extra hard for parents and care givers to keep […]

We might be close to being out of lockdown but we’re not there yet and people still need our support. Yesterday we sent 946 Nappies plus dozens of toothbrushes, toothpastes deodorants and tins did formula for families doing really tough during covid. We’re so pleased to be able to support wonderful organisations like Stevenson House. Thanks so much to Catrice and colleagues for looking after everyone during this lockdown.

Oh wow what a week! After an unexpected extended stay in hospital we still managed to get another 60 families sorted for period packs, toiletries and Fathers Day gifts for this week! These items are all going out through Melton, Caroline Springs and Taylor’s lakes and add to the many different organisations and groups we have been assisting since the Covid Crisis right across Victoria. Huge apologies to those of you still waiting for emails and messages to be answered. We’ll get to those as soon as we can. It’s all good in the period project hood, just a small […]

Today our very super volunteer Super Simon came to pick up more wonderful donations from us then hit the roads to deliver a car load of items to people locked in their homes due to Covid. In today’s haul there was shampoo and conditioner, body wash, 200 masks, enough washing powder to get a more than a hundred families through a weeks worth of washing and a load of the coolest toys for kids who can’t go outside to play. Kids in towers who are isolating because they or a family member has covid often get bored and really need […]

Another day doing what we love, helping people. Today we took a special order of formula to a Mama who has a newborn and a 13mo and is on lockdown. What a super mum! We’re so pleased to support the people who rely on the incredible work Westvale community Center in Brimbank are doing. Brimbank has one of the highest cases of Covid and many people there are suffering. We’re helping out as much as we can. We’re delivering another load of formula there this afternoon ready for their by appointment community day tomorrow. Thanks to our incredible supporters we’re […]

What a day! Not only did we weed the garden, re-pot our ferns and tidy up our courtyard, we bagged up almost 100 laundry powder sachets for families in lock down, and made up 50 sets of masks for those who need some in an emergency. A huge thank you to Jo and Siobhan for helping out today. Our beautiful courtyard is looking much better. We can’t wait for spring to come and lockdown to be gone so we can enjoy our gorgeous space again 🌱

We’re so proud to continue to support the Victorian communities most affected by the Coronavirus lockdown. Brimbank has been one of the hardest hit area and we’ve been making sure the community has access to sanitary items, nappies, baby food, infant formula and toiletries. Today we visited the Westvale Community Center in Brimbank to deliver 60 more infant and baby packs for the families affected by Coronavirus. We will continue to work to make sure no person is left behind.

Today Super Simon picked up and delivered hygiene and sanitary items for around 100 families affected by coronavirus in the Collingwood towers. We’ve been delivering Period Packs, nappies and formula to the families and today they received shampo, conditioner, soap, body lotion, deodorants and shavers. We raided many Aldi stores in our local area to find what we needed but not leave any stores depleted. People really do look at you funny when there’s 60 bottles of shampoo in your trolly! I just tell them I have a lot of kids 😉 Simon has already delivered these items to Drummond […]

This is what kindness looks like. Today we drove around 400km doing our day to day work delivering Period Packs and nappies for babies at Westvale Community Centre, but we also delivered four gorgeous fresh fruit and vegetable boxes to families doing it very tough. These boxes were donated by Melanie and the wonderful people at Market in a Box. Our lovely volunteer Fran chipped in for the eggs, pizza bases and some lovely sweet treats! Hillside to Sunbury to Hoppers Crossing to Epping to Yan Yean to Reservoir to Brunswick East to Kings Park to Delahay. That was our […]

What a team! Our super volunteers masked up, kept at least 1.5m apart, took their temps, sanitised and gloved their hands to make up 50 infant packs with nappies, baby food and wipes, and 60 Period Packs with pads, tampons, liners and three pairs of underwear from Silent Arrow in each box. We worked into the night and even ate individual socially distanced snacks outside in the courtyard on our breaks A huge thank you to Dayle for running us through the COVIDSafe education session so we made sure we were all safe. Not all volunteers are pictured because we […]

The week isn’t even over, yet we have already helped hundreds of isolated families affected by Covid-19 lockdown restrictions with a phenomenal number of donations. We have also delivered dozens of Period Packs, new underwear and other essential items. But it’s not just about the item itself. It’s about what it represents. It eases the burden and it shows people that others really do care, and that no matter what, they’re not in it alone. You, our followers, have done an incredible job making this happen. We thank you all so very much.
