Knitters Wanted

Knitters and crafty crochet folk we need you! Each week we give out Winter Warmer bags with warm winter clothing including beanies, scarves and gloves/mittens. Unfortunately even though it has only just hit winter, we have already run out of stock for our next lot of bags.

We desperately need more knitted items so if you’re a knitter or someone who can crochet we would love for you to help us replenish our stock.

It’s cold, we’re in lockdown with many of us stuck at home so what better way to while away the time than knitting something warm for someone really doing it tough.

If you’re able to help please let us know? If not can you please share this post so that someone else might see it who can help.

Thank you so much everyone. We once again appreciate your support and generosity 🙏💜

We need beanies in adult sizes. Preferably dark colours as they help people to hide at night. No pom-poms please

Scarves also preferred in dark colours. Any length but not too big as they can be a bit cumbersome to carry if they’re really large.

Fingerless gloves like the one in the pic are great but preferably a bit longer so they cover the fingers entirely. They can be folded back over the hands. Any colours. These really are just a long tube with a space for the thumb to pop through and enough length to fold out to cover the fingers during the night. The person can fold them back over their fingers if they need access to yheir phone etc. these are better than gloves as the person doesn’t have to completely remove them to use their fingers.

After lockdown ends we will be open for drop off. Thank you all so much. ❤️
