Such an Act of Kindness

Today we witnessed one of the most incredible acts of human kindness we have ever seen. It bought us all to tears.

As many of you know we have been helping a lady named Kelly, who has been through the most horrendous ordeal of domestic violence recovery then having her home broken into and completely trashed. Kelly and her three children lost everything they own. They slept in their car for six weeks before finally finding another place to live.

For the past few months we have been selling raffle tickets to help support Kelly and hundreds of other women without a safe place to live. Today was the day of our raffle draw and we were so excited to call the winners who had each won one of four incredible luxury holidays.

When we called Suzanne Kundevska to give her the exciting news that she had won an incredible $10k luxury holiday to the Witsundays, Suzanne gave us an even bigger suprise by telling us she was donating the holiday to Kelly!

Suzanne said that when she read Kelly’s story it inspired her to buy a ticket, and she promised herself that if she won she would gift the holiday to Kelly.

And she did exactly that. Wow!

When we phoned Kelly tonight to let her know that Suzanne had gifted her holiday to her, Kelly was lost for words. She told us she has never been on a holiday in her life and couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

We assured Kelly it was true, she and her children would be going on a fantastic holiday to the Whitsundays thanks to Suzanne’s gift.

What a beautiful Christmas gift to give to another person. We were all in shock!

Thank you Suzanne. We are in awe of your incredible heart and your generosity 🙏 Thank you for bringing such joy to a stranger. You truly are an exceptional person xxx

Underwear for Humanity

Fri Mar 4 , 2022
Our hearts (and Period Packs!) go out to the victims of the NSW and QLD floods. The incredible Kelly from our sister charity Underwear for Humanity came in to pick up some Period Packs to take to flood victims along with hundreds of pairs of new underwear. We can’t do much but we can do something. At least we know those who are affected by the floods and are menstruating won’t be left without sanitary items. This is what you do. This is how you help. Thank you so much from all of us xx
