Super Simon Helping Drummond Street

We are so excited to be able to once again supply the wonderful people at drummond street services with 40 play bags containing over 240 play items. Plus 1450 sanitary pads and 432 nappies to assist clients still in lockdown.

Our awesome volunteer Super Simon was on hand yet again to load up his trusty wagon and get these items over to Imran, Basant and Ron from Drummond Street Services.

Simon was telling us that some of these children haven’t been able to play outside since stage 4 lockdown due to playground being closed, and living in towers means no yard is available. If a person is suspected or diagnosed with covid, it means the whole family then isolates as close contacts.

Many people don’t have support and with young children it can be very difficult to get to shops. This is why our services and food relief services are so important.

It has been unimaginably difficult.

We thank you all yet again for helping us to continue our work. We are so proud of what we do and so proud to have your support to do it.

We’ll be passing these on to Deb and the awesome team at From Us 2 You to help get them out […]
