The Kala Space is the latest initiative from The National Homeless Collective.
In our Op Shop we employ women who are:
1. Escaping Domestic Abuse
2. Recently escaped Homelessness
3. Experiencing Homelessness
4. At risk of Homelessness.
The money from sales is used to pay these women’s wages, an important step towards independence.
The Kala Space sells great quality clothing for all genders and ages, accessories, shoes, bags and hats and aims to connect people through mind, body and spirit.
We’re an op shop, community courtyard and meditation space all in one.
Come in for a chat and see what we can do for you or how you can help us help even more people.
If you would like to make a financial donation to The Kala Space you can do so using Credit Card or PayPal facilities through our secure payment gateway.
All donations will go towards the running of The Kala Space to provide a safe and inclusive environment to enable employment pathways to vulnerable women and a hand up to financial and secure future.

Thank you to every single one of you who has donated a gift or donated financially. We had the privilege of meeting some of our gift giving angels at The Kala

Today we started our annual Christmas appeal to make sure children and families doing it tough can still enjoy Christmas this year. When we first started helping families at Christmas it was just a few gifts and vouchers to those experiencing homelessness. Now we collect and send gifts all over the country. There are still so many people and places forgotten and suffering at Christmas time. This year our first goal is to help 250 families, and our second goal is to help 250 more! We’re not a funded charity. We simply rely on the good hearts of the people
