What a busy end to the week! Well, our week never really ends. We just keep going every day to wherever we’re needed.
A few days ago we received a message from our friends at Launch Housing asking if we could assist with a bike for a Dad who just wanted to go out riding with his children. We had previously purchased bikes for the kids when homelessness struck and the Dad just wanted to be able to have an outing with them doing something they loved. Riding their bikes! We were more than happy to oblige and were so pleased to be able to deliver this gorgeous bike to Launch this morning. We hope the family has many happy days of riding together bike 🚲 💕
Next up we drove all the way out to Wyndam to collect over 5000 brand new pairs of women’s underwear that we will be making up into essential packs for the people of Brimbank and tower residents over the weekend.
We will be sending out Period Packs with underwear and toiletries as well as infant packs with nappies, wipes, food and clothing for babies.
We’ll be busy packing these all weekend but we cannot wait to deliver them throughout the Brimbank shire and the Flemington and North Melbourne towers on Monday.
