What A Weekend

What an incredible weekend our charity had! A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers who worked at our op shop The Kala Space over the weekend and a big shout out to everyone who helped at our Charity BBQ on Saturday as well.

We also spent the day shopping for 40 urgent school bags for kids experiencing homelessness and disadvantage and had yet another team of incredible volunteers come in to help us assemble them.

Oh and it was awesome to have Sammy J stop by our BBQ for a snag and a chat!

We can’t do this without our fantastic volunteers and the support from the community. Thank you all so much for giving up your time over the weekend to lend a hand. We love you all!

40 School Packs heading to the kids

A huge thank you once again to our incredible volunteer Super Simon for helping to deliver our precious cargo to the kids at drummond street services. These fully packed school bags will be delivered to 40 kids tomorrow who are all eager to head back to school. Thanks so much to the wonderful people at adrift for sponsoring these bags. We appreciate your support so very much. And again, a huge thank you to Simon for helping to make sure the bags were all delivered safely
